First Lutheran Church worship has a long tradition of great music. It's worship has been enhanced by choirs since its earliest years. Continuing this history, the Senior Choir is an integral part of worship at First, singing music which highlights one of the scripture readings of the day, or the festival (such as Christmas, Reformation, Easter), or simply expanding on aspects of the Christian experience (faith, love, compassion, joy).
The senior choir rehearses every Wednesday evening, from 7 till 8:30 PM, and sings on the first and third Sundays of the month, plus holidays and celebrations. Our "season" extends from the Wednesday after Labor Day till the middle of May.
Please consider joining us in a unique and valued ministry at First. We are mindful that people's lives are busy, but strongly urge you to come and visit a rehearsal, and experience the joys of learning something new, and sharing it with the worshipping community.
